Wilmot Hills Orchard & Distillery

On Back Road in Lower Wilmot, within sight of Mount Roland, this small distillery makes gin, limoncello (a low-sugar northern Italian recipe), Calvados-style apple brandy, and absinthe from Tasmanian orchard produce. Tastings run Thursday to Tuesday in a lounge that holds up to 15. The range is specific and the setting unhurried — good reasons to stop.
