Marc and Eva Besen bought this 400-hectare Yarra Glen property in 1979; the first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines went in four years later on John Middleton's advice. Winemaker Sarah Fagan brings two decades of cool-climate experience to the cellar door, while chef Daniel Snooks draws on the estate's kitchen garden. The on-site Museum of Art is a genuine reason to linger.
