Tamborine Mountain Distillery

Founded in 1993 by Michael and Alla Ward, who planted their Beacon Road orchard from scratch and began distilling Ukrainian-influenced schnapps and eaux-de-vie from its fruit. Their debut, Bells of Saint Clements Citrus Brandy Liqueur, set the template. Current owners Gordon Chalmers and Dr. Shumei Hou operate from a restored Gallery Walk brewery site; the Apricot Brandy took World's Best at the 2023 London Spirits Competition.
