The Story

An estate winery at Tambo Upper, inland from the Gippsland Lakes in East Gippsland, growing grapes it bottles to express the site. The range runs to maritime barrel-matured Chardonnay under the Merrill and Reserve labels, a Nebbiolo rosé and a Malakoff Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir and Cabernet. James Halliday rated the 2015 Reserve Chardonnay 97 points. The cellar door opens Thursday to Sunday on Pages Road.
