Cousins Michael Hill-Smith MW and Martin Shaw founded this Adelaide Hills producer in 1989, and their Balhannah winery — built in time for the 2000 vintage — remains the centre of operations. Four estate vineyards across Lenswood, Piccadilly, Balhannah and Lobethal supply Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. The tasting room sits on site. Everything is fermented, aged and bottled here.
