Rickety Gate Estate Wines

A family-owned estate winery on the Scotsdale Road tourist route west of Denmark, planted by Russell and Linda Hubbard after they left the city in 2000. The cool-climate vines grow on north-facing slopes of the Bennett Ranges, on a site Dr John Gladstones identified for viticulture, and the Riesling, Merlot, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are made on site by John Wade, one of Western Australia's most experienced winemakers. The cellar door opened in 2007.
