Poor Toms Gin

A banker and an actor, Jesse and Griff pooled their savings in 2013 to buy a still — at a time when there were no distilleries in Sydney and nobody cared about craft gin. Their Marrickville operation produces gin, amaro, vodka and a Marrickville ouzo. The Shakespeare-derived name is apt: Poor Tom is the fool who sees clearly.
