Orange Mountain Estate wines

Ten kilometres west of Orange on the Escort Way, within sight of Mount Canobolas, this small winery works by hand throughout — picking, plunging, pressing via basket press — and ages the results in imported barrels with minimal fining. The cellar door offers tours and tastings; a wine club (12 bottles minimum) gets members up to 35 per cent off.
