The Story
A brewery 8km east of Esperance, on the road to Lucky Bay, doing something no other brewery in Australia does: brewing with raw, unmalted barley straight from local farmers, skipping the malthouse and its food miles. Nigel Metz and Robyn Cail started it in a backyard in 2015, after Nigel's years in the grains industry. It has taken Champion trophies at the Perth Royal Beer Awards several years running. The taproom adds wood-fired pizza, live music and tours.
