Bob Wilhelm runs Loaded Barrel from Rowville with a staff of three, putting time into every bottle. The debut release, Missfire Gin, came first; whisky — fermented, distilled for fruit and richness — followed. Small-batch independence is the operating principle here, and it shows in the work.
