Kapunda Museum

Kapunda was the site of Australia's first copper mine, opened in 1842 and transformed into one of the most important mining towns of the colonial era. Kapunda Museum preserves this exceptional heritage through collections spanning the copper boom, the agricultural history of the Barossa hinterland and the life of the community.
