Joadja Distillery, Tourism, Historic Site

Located in an 1870s abandoned kerosene shale mining village in the Southern Highlands, this distillery creates award-winning spirits including gold medallist anise liqueur and bronze medallist dry gin. One of the few single malt distilleries worldwide to grow their own barley on-site, they offer tastings weekends plus access to guided heritage tours of the historic mining town.
