Rathbone Cottage dates to 1820 and still does its main job: twelve wines poured by the fire or on the verandah above the Derwent River. The Shed restaurant next door runs Wednesday to Sunday, pairing locally sourced produce with the estate's cool-climate bottles. Simple operation, strong setting.
