Craigow Vineyard

One of the Coal River Valley's earliest vineyards, Craigow sits in the path of the Roaring Forties — the southern hemisphere winds that keep temperatures low and conditions honest. The result: Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay with the kind of restraint that recalls Burgundy and Alsace. The sparkling Merlot and dessert Riesling are worth seeking out too.
