Blackwood Valley Distillery

A grounded origin story: airline pilot Dave was stood down during COVID, so he and father-in-law Pete — a builder who'd already co-founded one of WA's first boutique cideries — turned a 2.5-litre copper test still into a working distillery. Their first gin, fittingly called Grounded, came out of that long pause. Small batch, Bridgetown, Blackwood Valley.
