Ampersand Estates Winery

Two Americans-meet-South-Africans-in-West-Australia origin stories don't always pan out, but Melissa Bell and Corrie Scheepers' 2020 takeover of the Pemberton region's oldest winery has produced something coherent. Three separate houses — sleeping four to ten — sit across the Peerabeelup estate alongside the winery and Rainfall Distillery, which makes gin and vodka from local botanicals. Breakfast hampers come with the room.
